Staying at Riad Amaris was a delight! The breakfast was simply superb, featuring a variety of eats like the unique Balboula soup that really tickled my taste buds. The staff, notably Abdul, were not just helpful but genuinely welcoming, making my stay feel like home. Plus, the charming atmosphere allowed me to unwind beautifully after a bustling day out in the medina! I loved the cozy vibe of the stylish rooms.
However, I did hit a snag during check-in. after a long journey, my room wasn't ready, leaving me waiting longer than I'd hoped. Also, a kettle for hot water and coffee/tea sachets would’ve been a cherry on top, especially for someone who travels often like me!

The highs and the lows
The staff are incredibly welcoming, ensuring you feel right at home! The rooftop terrace is a perfect spot to unwind while enjoying a delicious breakfast that includes a variety of fresh, local options!
Finding nearby parking posed quite a challenge, and the riad's entrance can be a bit tricky to locate, particularly amidst the bustling market streets.

The charming decor in the rooms created a cozy atmosphere that provided a welcoming escape after a day of wandering. The bathroom, while different, had character that some might find intriguing.
The rooms had a noticeable unpleasant smell that could make the stay less comfortable. Additionally, the windows opened directly into the common area, limiting privacy and light. The check-in process was frustrating as my room was not ready, leaving me waiting too long after a long flight. There was also a lack of amenities such as a kettle and coffee/tea supplies, which are standard in many other hotels.

Exceptional location in the heart of the Medina with a lovely sun terrace. friendly and attentive staff made us feel truly welcomed. breakfast included local pastries and fresh juice, great start to the day!
It was a bit tricky to find at first, could use clearer directions for newcomers. they don’t provide keys for the entrance door, which felt a bit concerning in case of an emergency.

I stayed in the Double Room with Private Bathroom for one night. The room was just like the photos, super comfy! The decor really made it feel cozy and welcoming. Plus, the breakfast was excellent, served in a lovely space. No complaints about noise despite being in the medina—very peaceful. Only downside? The bathroom layout might be awkward for some, but it didn’t bother me much.

The breakfast was truly enjoyable, featuring homemade croissants and other delicious local dishes, served on a lovely terrace with captivating views. The staff exhibited remarkable hospitality, going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience. However, the layout of the bathroom might be off-putting for some, as it lacks proper separation, which could affect privacy. Additionally, the entrance can be a bit confusing to find, and a lack of basic amenities such as a kettle could have enhanced the stay significantly.
